Devlog 04: The final prototype!


Introduction

Hi there! Welcome to our 4th devlog for Soup Showdown. Big news—our project has been officially greenlit! This means we’re moving into full production. Over the past week, we’ve finalized our shader and prototype, and we’ve completed the art bible, sound bible, and technical document. With our game design document finished and most of our tasks added to our HacknPlan page, we’re ready to tackle development in a structured way.

Art

We now have a solid foundation for the game’s visual style. Our artists are shifting focus to asset production for the characters, ingredients and environment. Our shader is other priority, we've started crafting the final version now. 




Programming

Our prototype has been finalized, marking a huge milestone. With this prototype in place, we feel ready to start implementing!

Sound

The sound bible is complete, giving us a well-defined direction for the game’s audio. With the production phase starting, our sound designer will begin creating final music tracks and effects.
