Devlog 12: Time to plate up!


Hey everyone! Week 12 has passed, which means we have crossed the finish line. Let's go over the final changes, plate up the soup, and bon appétit!

Art

  • Indicators were created for the ingredients
  • Chili Pepper got its own fiery effect to distinguish it
  • Team colors were changed to fit the visuals better
  • Background animations were added
  • The animations are fully finished and implemented
  • Icons got adjusted

Programming

  • Added visual score to winning screen
  • All animations which were broken got fixed
  • Winning / losing animations got added
  • Indicators for the ingredients got implemented
  • Van animation got fixed
  • The winning screen scale logic got adjusted to handle edge cases
  • Controller vibrations got added
  • General minor bug fixes

Sound

  • Van idle sound created and implemented
  • The footstep audio events got added to the new running animation
  • All winning screen sounds got created and implemented after the bugs were ironed out
  • Final audio balancing pass - compression, pitch shifts, leveling out the loudness
